Pink glitters with flowers

Slanted french manicure. Tips using pink glitters from Canmake. Base color from The Face Shop. Flower nail art stickers from The Face Shop. One flower from both thumbs and middle fingers have a crystal on it. The glitters from Canmake are really pretty. Very bling and I think they are hologram and reflects different colors.
Just did a simple coat of the same pink glitters for my toes. Was trying to attempt a few styles for my fingers but failed. In the end, lost patience to do anything fancy for my toes.

Purchases #1 : Some new supplies

These arrived in the mail some days ago. I got 2 nail polish remover dispenser pumps and some dotting tools from Hong Kong. The dispenser is rather useful but I'm still trying to figure the dotting tools out. My last attempt was a failure. Now still waiting for the main bulk of my supplies from the States. They are taking quite a while to arrive.

Got the above from Daiso. The gold and silver nail polishes come with a slanted brush. The function of it was supposed to be for french manicure but I don't really find that useful. The gold glitters are rather pretty. However, the nail art polishes are lousy. The brushes are really terrible. Got 3 tubs of bullions too. They are bling and pretty. Thinking of what to do with them.

Yellow & Gold

Simple and elegant design. The Face Shop light yellowish gold polish with Flexbrush gold linings again. Added 2 coats of hologram glitters but the camera was unable to capture them. Reused 8 crystals from the previous design. Only the ones on both thumbs are new and they are bigger in size (ss10).

Bought some Canmake glitter polish yesterday so thought of giving this design a change. Added silver glitter polish to the gaps in between the lines. Super bling! I like!

Vampy and Gold

Just bought this nail color a few days ago from The Face Shop. It's vampish color with shimmers. Gold linings done with Flexbrush gold glitters. Can only do gold linings now as that's the only nail art polish with striping brush I have. Tried using the fine brush I bought to draw with normal nail polish but the effect is not very good.

I've ordered some bottles of Art Club nail art polish and tons and tons of crystals. Waiting for them to arrive.

My first set of DIY nail art

Stars and diamonds shapes from Daiso. I can't bear to use my Swarovski yet. Gold glitters by Flexbrush. Nail colors from The Face Shop. Almost all my nail colors are from them. Thinking of getting some OPIs.

Set of blings

I went to soak off my acrylics after a week. Acrylics are suppose to last about 2 - 3 weeks before the growth of your nails starts to show. I got mine removed after just one week cause the lady at the nail salon commented that one of my nails might had been infected and that comment got me really paranoid. Little had I known that it was her little trick to get me to buy that antiseptic lotion.

Anyways, I was rather sick of those silly acrylics and I think one of them broke due to the lousy job that girl at the lousy salon did. After the soak off, I requested to have nail art done as I was still very much in love with the blings I had on my nails. This was what I did.

This time round, I was given a nail art magazine to choose the designs from. Gosh, they were all so pretty. I was rather upset that she did not give me this magazine the last time. The damage for this session was $100.

Nice nail art

About 5 days after I got my acrylics done, I went to another nail salon to get that ugly, ugly glitters removed. I told them I wanted some nail art cause I figured it's a waste to do acrylics without trying some nail arts. The lady there gave me a small little album to choose from and this was what I choose.
I liked them alot. Although later, I realised that there are much nicer designs. This set cost only $35 but I bought the antiseptic for another $39.

My very first acrylics

These are not done by me. I do not know how to do acrylic nails. These are done by a very lousy nail salon, which I will never step foot into again. Cost me $105 and lots of frustration. I wanted giltter tips but look at the shit she gave me. The glitters were all over the place. Horrible. After 2 days, I decided to take things into my own hands. I removed some of the glitters from the middle part. They looked slightly better, although still very ugly.

The start of my nail art hobby

I've developed a sudden interest in nail art. I love to see my nails all done up and pretty. Most importantly, I love BLINGS! Nails look so pretty with blings. Going to the nail salon is rather time consuming and time is not very flexible. So, I figured I might be able to DIY. Let the pretty nails journey begins... ...
