Purchases #15 : OPI Avoplex

I realised that my cuticle areas are rather dry and they are starting to peel. So I immediately went ahead and bought this online.

It's lightly scented with a very pleasant fragrance. I like the smell. It feels quite oily when I first applied it but after messaging the oil in, the oiliness became more acceptable. This can be used on elbows as well, though I don't think I will.

I hope I will be discipline enough to use this every night and if I do, I shall post a review in due time about the effectiveness of this product. Stay tuned!

Dark purple, white tips

The base color is actually dark purple, it looks like black in the picture. Both white and purple polish from The Face Shop and golden lines from Artclub. Blings from Swarovski.

This is going to be my new year nails!

Purchases #14 : Art Club Nail Art Lacquers

Received these from the mail today. I got them from the same US seller from ebay. This time round the shipping was rather fast. I placed my orders on the 19th and they arrived today. The last time it took almost 2 weeks.

I like this seller as he took the effort to pack everything nicely with the double layer envelopes and stuff. However, you notice that I seemed to have bought 2 bottles of red. That is actually not the case. I only ordered 1 bottle of red. The other bottle is suppose to be Neon violet, which is something like dark purple. The label at the bottom of the bottle indicated the color that I ordered but the contents are obviously red.

I've sent an email to the seller and asked him to provide me with a solution to this problem. I shall wait for his reply.

*Update*

The seller had reverted back to me. He said that there had been a manufacture mistake on the label of this bottle and he will be sending me a new bottle!! Yeah! Wonderful! I totally love the way he handled this problem. Highly recommend this seller. I think I shall order more stuff from him as a way of showing my thanks. Hee hee....

Purchases #13 : Polish from The Face Shop

I bought The Face Shop nail polish again. Whenever I pass by The Face Shop, I will automatically walk inside and look at the nail polish. Usually I won't come out empty handed. Well, their nail polish is really cheap and the quality is not too bad, although they seem a little diluted then before.

Anyway, the first bottle you see here is a shade of milky white and I thought it's a nice shade as opposed to painting pure white all the time. It was only after I got home that I realised that it's not a nail polish, but a nail supplement. Darn! Oh well, I guess supplement is good. Hope it will do my nails good then. The second bottle is the very pretty crystal glitter shade I mentioned here. I was so happy that they brought this shade back. The next few bottles are dark purple, dark blue and black respectively. I know, they all look like black in this picture.

I'm scratching my head now, thinking of what designs to do for the new year.

Peach color from The Face Shop and silver crosses done with Art Club fine silver glitters. Swarovski crystals for the bling effect.

Golden criss cross on white

This is my set of Christmas nails. White from The Face Shop. French tip created with gold polish from Daiso and added an extra coat of gold glitters from Daiso as well. Criss cross created with Art Club hologram gold glitters. Added Swarovski crystals for the bling factor.

I like this design alot. I think I will be doing more of this design in different color combinations.

Silver french with criss cross

Crystal glitter from The Face Shop as base. I uber love this shade but had not seen it at The Face Shop for a long time. I hope they bring it back soon. Silver tips from Daiso and criss cross created with Artclub fine silver glitters. This design looks like a pair of socks I used to have.

I don't really like the polish from Daiso. The finishing is rough and it takes a long time to dry even after applying the magic Seche top coat.

As all the shades I used contained some glitters, this set of nails are bling even without crystals!

Red Lines on White

Red lines created with Artclub red glitters and white from The Face Shop. I think they look like little presents.

Purchases #12 : OPI Envy part II

You must be wondering why do I buy this again. Well, the last bottle was broken in an 'accident'. I got this online as well but not from the seller I bought from previously cause it was out of stock. I'm not too happy with this seller cause firstly, it cost slightly more and secondly, it came without the box! Not that I'm very interested in the box but the previous seller posted to me with the box and now, without the box, it looks so sad.

Anyway, still glad that I received it. Festive season round the corner and the last thing I want to happen is to break my nails!!

White on Light Gold

Yellowish gold and white from The Face Shop. Created lines using Artclub's Hologram gold glitters and crystals from Swarovski.

Bronze

Did this simple set of nails after I removed the previous one. Bronze color from The Face Shop. I drew 2 very fine lines at the tip using Artclub's Hologram gold glitter and Copper glitter.

Glittery Pink with White tips

I was almost done doing this set of nails when I knocked the Nailtek Quicken off the top I was doing my nails on. The Quicken was all over the place and most importantly, on my bag! Lost all mood to continue this set of nails so I removed them.

Blingnification #10

Was asked to bling this IU cover.

Sprayed it silver before blinging.

Now... after adding the blings...

Classic french manicure with slight glitters

Applied this set of classic french manicure after removing the Trio colors french. Decided to do something simple.

White from The Face Shop. Added something extra to this classic french with Art Club Crystal glitters.

White, Baby blue and Lavender from The Face Shop. Clear glitter lining created with Art Club crystal glitter.

I applied the polish too thick and it never seem to dry even after the quick drying top coat. Removed this set of colors after like 30 minutes.
